We are looking for
Senior Manager, Institutional Business in Thailand who is responsible for driving sales, business growth through strategic client acquisition and relationship management. This role requires deep expertise in investments, strong client engagement skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams both local and international to deliver tailored investment solutions to Corporates and Institutional clients.
What You'll Do
Business Development & Sales
- Drive institutional client acquisition and cultivate strategic relationships to expand company's footprint.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities to grow assets under management (AUM) across public and private market solutions.
- Prepare proposals and presentations in line with client requirements and terms of reference.
- Coordinate with Legal & Compliance to ensure contracts and documents meet regulatory standards.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as a trusted partner to institutional clients, offering investment insights and customized solutions.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure high retention and engagement.
- Participate in prospective meetings, follow up on leads, and manage the end-to-end sales process. Oversee the private fund setup process and documentation for new clients.
- Monitor client portfolios and work with investment team to recommend investment strategies and/ or asset allocation strategies aligned with investment goals.
- Update contracts, client profiles, and compliance documentation (KYC/CDD/ECDD).
Cross-Selling & Agent Support
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote relevant products.
- Support selling/referral agents with product information and sales coordination.
Qualifications
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in institutional sales, capital raising, investor relations within public and private markets, asset management, insurance, or investment banking.
- Required Investment Consultant (IC) or Investment Planner (IP) License is a must and CFA is preferred.
- Solid understanding of investment markets, products, strategies, and institutional clients.
- Proficient in English
