ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Logistics Operations Management

  • Lead and oversee all inbound, outbound and warehouse operations.
  • Ensure accurate material flow, on-time delivery, and high service levels across operations.
  • Implement best practices to strengthen logistics efficiency and productivity.

2. Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Manage Material Warehouse operations to maintain inventory accuracy and optimized storage.
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse safety, 7S, and operational standards.
  • Improve processes, and space utilization to support capacity and efficiency.

3. Import/Export operations

  • Oversee customs clearance, shipping documentation, and all Import/Export processes.
  • Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, government requirements, and company policies.

4. Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Management

  • Manage performance of external service providers, including transporters and warehouse partners.
  • Monitor SLA compliance, evaluate monthly performance, and implement improvement actions.

5. Process Improvement & Digitalization

  • Lead initiatives to streamline processes and reduce manual operations.
  • Drive digital tools adoption (automation, dashboards, visibility systems, warehouse systems).
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks to enhance workflow and reduce operational risks.

6. Cost Management & Budget Control

  • Develop and manage monthly/quarterly logistics budget.
  • Monitor operational costs and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Analyze cost drivers and propose cost-effective solutions.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate within other logistics team member (Control Tower, Trade Compliance, Program management) Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, Finance, Quality, and other functions.
  • Provide logistics expertise to support new projects and operational challenges.
  • Facilitate communication and issue resolution to ensure smooth operations.

8. Leadership & People Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop logistics teams to build strong capabilities and performance.
  • Conduct performance reviews, identify skill gaps, and provide training and development plans.
  • Build a collaborative, engaged, and accountable team environment.

9. KPI Monitoring & Reporting

  • Establish, monitor, and report logistics KPIs such as GR/GI accuracy, inventory management, delivery performance, etc
  • Analyze performance gaps, implement corrective actions, and regularly update management.

10. Risk & Compliance Management

  • Identify operational risks and develop preventive and contingency plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company policies.
  • Support audits and maintain proper documentation and control measures.

11. Sustainability / ESG Contracting

  • Work with internal/external stakeholder to drive ESG integration in import-export operation, embedding environmental compliance and carbon disclosure measures into the operational process, and recommending improvements to optimize sustainability outcomes.

12. Outcome-Based Operations

  • Leads the transformation of logistics operations through AI-driven processes and automation, establishing performance frameworks and KPIs that guide global teams toward consistent operational excellence.

13. AI & Automation in Operations

  • Champions AI and automation in import-export operations, leading initiatives that transform workflows, improve efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making across functions.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations.

PREFERRED:

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in ERP, WMS, and automation tools
  • Advanced MS Office and reporting/dashboard skills
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement (Lean/ Kaizen/ VSM)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Audit, compliance, and documentation management
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, guiding teams toward high performance.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and logistics-related systems.
