Position: Senior Manager Operations (Polyisoprene)
Position Reports to: General Manager
Department: Operations (Polyisoprene)
Location: Surat Thani, Thailand
General Summary of Position:
- Understand the company Vision, Mission, and strategies and align corporate objectives to departmental objectives. Lead and manage PI operation which included of Compounding, Dipping, Electronic Testing, Foiling, Process, and work with concerned department to deliver the committed objectives target by utilizing all available resource effectively and efficiently under safety environment.
- Be part of management team in making decision and direction which are in plant level authorities.
- Implement Six Sigma methodology for process improvement and sustainable growth of the plant. Support, facilitate and leads strategic, high impact process improvement project. Deploys techniques of definition, measurement, analysis, improvement, and control.
- Manpower management and coaching for effectiveness work in PI Plant.
- The person in this position must coordinate and participate in every activity of safety, health, environment and report the unsafe act to minimize any injury occurred in the section and join activities regarding to ISO 14001.
Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities
- Be a steering committee, Drive and advise 19 core standards and ISO14001 implementation, safety and environment audit, use you see you act approach and walk a talk to build up the safety culture.
- Maintain compliance with Quality Management System Regulation.
- Maintain compliance with all internal and external EHS rules, regulations, and other Risk Management requirements.
- Actively use the safety calendar (or contribute to the activities prescribed in Plant GM's calendar) as an accountability tool to measure safety performance and to promote the development of EHS culture.
- Establish objectives, KPI and target, Production planning and quality control, Production and process problem solving, Continuous product quality and process improvement, maximize machine utilization, optimize material consumption, control inventory, and minimize all related expense.
- Use proper policy, labor standard and regulation, proper methodology, psychology, and treatment to employee, establish line of control and delegate responsibility, Recruitment of key staff, identify job description and competency, identify development plan and training, Performance appraisal, Improve employee satisfaction and morale.
- Support for process improvement projects to sustainable growth of the plant. Facilitate and leads strategy, Encourage team for LEAN.
Key Requirements for the Position
Education
- Bachelor's degree in related Science, Industrial or Engineering field, Rubber, Polymer or chemical science & technology, industrial management, chemical or industrial engineering.
- In case of education degree/field does not match with above requirement, relevant proven experience within LifeStyles or related manufacturing such as rubber or medical device products could be considered.
Job Experience
- At least 10 years working experience in Medical Devices, Gloves, and Latex Industry and 7 years in manufacturing management level,
