Job Purpose:
- Be responsible for leading, managing and executing Minor International's HR system strategic plan, initiatives, solutions and IT budget management to support business performance and employee satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
- Be an IT project manager to support Human Resources, which includes supervision, charged with ensuring IT solutions meet business objectives for Minor International and IT projects are delivered consistently and cost-effectively. Budget management, vendor negotiations, SLA-based performance reporting, procurement, and IT operations management are major work areas.
- Manage internal IT team and multiple IT vendors to deliver effective IT projects and account management of multiple businesses.
- Be responsible for leading and managing the teams providing IT project, deployment, and operational support for multiple Minor International businesses.
- Ensure that the assigned teams including IT vendors deliver the performance of services as agreed in the contract and meet/exceed the committed SLAs which include customer's satisfaction.
Principal Activities Performed by the Incumbent:
1) Manage the Information Technology operations and business-IT support function for Minor International business
- Plan capital, operating budget and IT projects to meet anticipated future Minor International information technology requirements; develop financial forecasts and prepare budgets to
- Leveraging a small team and large outsourced IT vendors, serve as the focal point of IT solutions and business account management. Ensuring that business requests and requirements are translated to clear deliverables and matching IT solutions.
- Ensure client expectations are met/exceeded with quality and profitable services and projects performed to the agreed project charter.
- Develop project stakeholder communications strategy for the Minor International businesses.
- Regularly inform and update IT Director, Minor International business managers and other appropriate managers regarding plans, issues, budgets, schedules, and the like pertaining to IT projects.
- Act as the main point of contact for account and business support from MINOR IT with the Minor International and hold regular update meetings with Business operations of Minor International on all assigned and approved information technology projects.
- Oversee the development and publication of progress and other reports to communicate status, issues, resolution of IT projects and changes, assures that management is kept apprised of activities, plans and performance issues for relevant information technology activities within assigned businesses in the Minor International.
- Perform an assessment of needs ensuring compliance with MINT standards, budget, capital requirements and authorization.
- Recommend changes and additions to information technology solutions and prepare and makes presentations of recommendations for stakeholder review and approval.
- Identify and recommend appropriate upgrades to application software, hardware or other tools, as appropriate.
- Determine priorities, schedules, plans, and necessary resources to ensure completion of any relevant projects on schedule and according to specification.
- Deliver IT projects and requests within budget and time constraints.
- Direct the relationship with vendors providing information systems products and services to Minor International business.
- Manage the negotiation of IT support vendor contracts and evaluation and monitoring of vendor performance on an ongoing basis; discuss and address issues of vendor performance with vendors.
- Identify processes and activities for users to fully utilize IT systems deployed within the Minor International and assist the business in improving / enhancing existing business processes to realize the full potential of IT solutions implemented within the Minor International business.
- Oversees the communication and training of users and store staff within the Minor International in the capability and requirements of the IT applications and systems utilized by the Minor International businesses.
- Plan, manage and monitor support levels for IT systems and applications used across assigned Minor International businesses.
- Coordinate with Infrastructure Team and IT vendors to provide Minor International with comprehensive computing services that meet strategic IT needs of stores and restaurants including nationwide networking and connectivity.
- Coordinate with other MINOR Information Technology teams (i.e. Infrastructure & Operations, Finance, HR, etc.) to identify and address recurring issues and determine and evaluate user feedback.
2) IT Vendor and Team Management:
- Recommend team changes as necessary to assure that current and future Minor International information technology needs will be met by MINOR Information Technology.
- Negotiate effectively with vendors and administer related IT service contracts.
- Negotiates service levels, licensing agreements, technology upgrades, and equipment acquisitions with IT support vendors and partners in collaboration with the regional IT team.
- Ensures proper vendor governance and healthy monitoring of services, by looking at the data for project deliver, change, problems, and service level performance.
- Screen, evaluate, govern, and provide feedback to IT vendors to efficiently and effectively serve Minor International businesses and to ensure the highest possible level of service to the Minor International.
- Ensures IT Vendor teams apply quality and project management processes in delivery and support of related information technology solutions used by the Minor International businesses.
- Manages vendor invoicing and IT budgets and financial aspects.
3) Communication:
