Key Responsibility:
Portfolio Performance & Center of Excellence
- Execute the portfolio performance framework, KPIs, and review routines across assigned wholesale and retail businesses.
- Lead performance analysis and identify key drivers, gaps, risks, value creation and improvement opportunities and translate insight into clear action.
- Lead monthly performance reviews and follow up on key improvement initiatives.
Performance Management & Decision Support
- Lead monthly performance reviews covering sales, margin, cost, inventory, working capital, productivity, profitability and all leading indicators.
- Analyze performance against prior year, budget, latest estimate, and targets, including key variances and early-warning indicators.
- Support forecasting, scenario analysis, business cases, and investment decisions with relevant financial insights.
- Track agreed actions and assess their financial impact and effectiveness.
Reporting & Finance Excellence
- Ensure management reports, KPIs, and dashboards are accurate, timely, and consistent.
- Identify and drive improvements in reporting, data quality, processes, and automation.
- Support implementation of standardized finance processes, tools, and performance management practices across business units.
Business Partnership & Execution
- Partner with Business Units, FP&A, Accounting, Operations, and IT/Data to resolve performance issues and deliver improvement initiatives.
- Challenge business assumptions and improvement plans based on financial and operational evidence.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives, monitor progress, and escalate key risks and issues to the Associate Director.
