Job Objective
To lead, strategize, and oversee the end-to-end technical execution of Dusit brand new builds, conversions, and major renovations globally. Acting as a senior representative of the Technical Services (TS) department, the Senior Manager is responsible for ensuring brand integrity through rigorous design review, cross-functional leadership, and the proactive management of complex project lifecycles. This role serves as a bridge between high-level corporate strategy and the technical implementation of Dusit's design standards.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Compliance
- Subject Matter Expert: Act as the ultimate authority on all core brand standards, ensuring global consistency across diverse property portfolios.
- Design Governance: Lead the review of complex architectural plans, MEP drawings, and interior presentations. Synthesize feedback from specialized TS team members into high-level strategic directives that ensure operational efficiency and brand excellence.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to TS workflows, software documentation, and administrative protocols to enhance departmental performance.
Project & Relationship Management
- End-to-End Oversight: Direct the administration of project developments from inception through to handover, ensuring a seamless transition to the Operations team.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary senior point of contact for Property Owners, Lead Consultants, and DI Executives, managing expectations and fostering collaborative partnerships.
- Global Coordination: Synchronize efforts with TS coordinators and regional offices worldwide to ensure a unified approach to global project delivery.
Risk Mitigation & Financial Stewardship
- Critical Path Management: Monitor project milestones and deliverables; proactively identify and mitigate risks related to timelines and budgets.
- Quality Assurance: Execute final reviews of all departmental deliverables to ensure executive-ready accuracy before they reach Owners or the DI Board.
- Value Engineering: Lead initiatives to identify cost-saving methods and sustainable design solutions without compromising brand prestige or guest experience.
Professional Development & Innovation
- Industry Intelligence: Curate and share insights from international seminars and exhibitions regarding new developments in FF&E, materials, and hospitality technology.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior managers and coordinators, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the TS department.
