Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Our client operates as a core production hub for essential automotive drive systems, specifically focusing on the manufacturing and machining of high-precision engines and automatic transmissions. These components are supplied to vehicle assembly plants both within Thailand and across international markets. Additionally, the operation is currently being expanded and upgraded to support the production of electrified vehicle components, including hybrid and electric drive systems, as part of a broader strategy to transition toward next-generation mobility.

For this Senior Manufacturing Engineer:

The core responsibilities of this role involve leading new production preparation and process changes while optimizing quality and productivity, resolving engineering bottlenecks, and managing investment budgets and fixed assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation for new production lines, ensuring all processes meet predefined quality standards and cost targets.
• Develop and release production instructions (from pilot through prototype phases) and verify their alignment with mass production requirements.
• Oversee Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and manage process changes to maintain manufacturing consistency and efficiency.
• Continuously optimize production lines by resolving engineering bottlenecks, implementing improvements based on company policy, and enhancing overall output quality.
• Control and report on project and construction investment budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
• Monitor and manage team-level fixed assets, ensuring proper tracking, maintenance, and ongoing operational improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years experience as Manufacturing engineer, Production Engineer or related in Auto parts industry
• Experience in installation or process improvement
• Experience in team supervisor
• Good command in English
