Mission and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Media Planning & Communications Architecture :
- Lead annual/quarterly media strategy development, including consumer journeys, media architecture, and channel role mapping.
- Translate business and marketing objectives into actionable media strategies across brand-building and performance-driven campaigns.
- Develop integrated 360 plans combining ATL, Digital, Social, Search, Programmatic, Commerce Media, and KOL/Content elements.
- Build strong planning frameworks such as:
- Full-funnel strategy
- Always-On & Burst cycles
- Measurement architecture
- Segmentation & audience frameworks
- Ensure plans are insight-driven, data-informed, and culturally relevant for Thai consumers.
- Data-Driven Insights & Analytics :
- Use available data sources (Nielsen, GA4, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LINE, brand.ai, Waldo, platform analytics, Google Marketing Platform) to uncover insights.
- Conduct channel performance forecasting, budget allocation modelling, and scenario planning.
- Convert raw data into actionable strategic recommendations for clients.
- Track consumer, cultural, and platform trends and integrate them into planning.
- Integrated Channel Planning & Innovation :
- Demonstrate deep understanding of media channels including: TV, OOH, Digital Video, Social (Meta/TikTok/LINE), Search, Programmatic, CRM/1PD, Commerce, KOLs, Content, Sponsorship & Partnerships.
- Manage cross-channel planning to ensure consistency, synergy, and effective reach/impact.
- Identify new media opportunities, ad formats, partnerships, and innovations that elevate campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Content/KOL teams to incorporate creator-led solutions into media strategy.
- Client Servicing & Account Leadership :
- Act as the primary planning lead for assigned clients, driving strategic direction and proactive recommendations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships based on trust, expertise, and reliability.
- Lead annual planning, media reviews, post-campaign presentations, and category landscape reports.
- Provide clear, structured storytelling in all strategic documents and presentations.
- Align with client business KPIs and communicate how media plans ladder up to outcomes.
- Collaboration with Buying, Performance & Ad Ops Teams :
- Partner with buying teams to ensure accuracy in cost, inventory planning, and negotiations.
- Work with Ad Ops & performance teams to set KPI frameworks, ensure campaign setup quality, and monitor optimization.
- Coordinate cross-functional workflows: creative, content, data analysts, KOL teams, and partners.
- Ensure all plans are executable, optimized, and aligned with operational capabilities.
- Campaign Measurement, Reporting & Optimization :
- Establish measurement frameworks for campaigns: Reach, Frequency, Awareness Lift, CTR, CVR, CPM/CPV/CPE, ROAS, CPA, CPQL, etc.
- Review campaign performance regularly and provide actionable insights to improve efficiency and ROI.
- Lead post-campaign evaluations with clear learnings, strategic implications, and next steps.
- Continuously refine planning processes to drive better outcomes.
- Team Leadership & Capability Development :
- Manage, coach, and mentor Planners and Junior Planners.
- Support capability training in areas such as media fundamentals, data interpretation, platform knowledge, and storytelling.
- Drive internal planning excellence by sharing best practices and elevating quality standards.
- Maintain strong team morale, collaboration, and efficiency.
Requirements / Technical Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field. Postgraduate degree is a plus but not mandatory.
- 57 years experience in media planning or integrated communication planning, preferably within an agency environment.

- Media Planning Skills:
- Strong understanding of media foundations (Reach/Frequency, GRP, channel roles)
- Ability to build multi-channel budgeting frameworks
- Digital Skills:
- Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, YouTube & Google Ads, LINE for Business, DV360 / Programmatic tools
- Search Strategy, Commerce Media (Lazada/Shopee/TikTok Shop)
- Analytics & Tools:
- GA4, Nielsen / Ad Intel, brand.ai, Semrush / Similarweb
- Excel modeling (budgeting, forecast), Data visualization tools (Google Data Studio/Looker)
