Job Responsibilities
1. Medical Leadership & People Management
- Lead and develop the Thailand Medical Affairs organization.
- Provide coaching, performance management, and capability development for direct reports.
- Drive a high-performance culture aligned with MJN and ASEAN Medical objectives.
- Assess future organizational needs and recommend resource optimization.
2. Medical Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute the annual medical affairs strategy for Thailand aligned with ASEAN priorities.
- Generate actionable medical insights to support business and scientific objectives.
- Identify emerging scientific trends, unmet needs, and opportunities in pediatric nutrition.
3. Scientific Leadership & External Engagement
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with national and regional KOLs, professional societies, academic institutions, and key healthcare stakeholders.
- Serve as the company's medical representative in high-level scientific discussions.
- Lead scientific exchange and medical advisory initiatives.
4. Cross-functional Partnership
- Act as the medical partner to Marketing, Medical Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Compliance, and Commercial leadership.
- Ensure scientific integrity of business initiatives and customer engagement activities.
- Collaborate closely with ASEAN Medical Affairs and R&D Organization (RDO) on regional projects and evidence generation initiatives.
5. Medical Governance & Compliance
- Serve as final medical approver for promotional and non-promotional materials in Veeva.
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies, local regulations, WHO Code, and industry standards.
- Manage medical risk assessment and scientific substantiation processes.
6. Medical Education & Scientific Programs
- Provide strategic oversight for advisory boards, expert meetings, symposiums, scientific forums, and educational initiatives.
- Ensure scientific quality and impact of medical programs.
7. Regional & Corporate Contributions
- Lead or participate in ASEAN and global medical projects.
- Share medical insights and best practices across markets.
- Support regional capability-building initiatives.
8. Leadership Team Participation
- Serve as a member of Thailand Nutrition Leadership Team (TNLT).
- Contribute to business planning, risk management, and organizational decision-making.
Job Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or equivalent); Pediatric specialization is an advantage.
- Minimum 5–7 years experience in Medical Affairs, preferably in pediatric nutrition or pharmaceutical industry.
- Prior experience engaging with KOLs and executing medical strategies at country level.
- Familiarity with local regulatory requirements and medical governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Fluent in Thai and proficient in English.
