Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies to enhance sales and optimize inventory levels.
  • Understand customer trends, store characteristics, and product lineups, and reflect them in merchandising planning strategies on a yearly, monthly, and weekly basis to align with seasonal trends and company goals.
  • Work closely with retail sales teams to identify the business challenges and opportunities.
  • Monitoring inventory levels, analyzing sales data, and making informed decisions regarding stock replenishment, markdowns, and promotions if necessary.
  • Coordinate with the design team, procurement, and supply chain to ensure timely production and delivery.
  • Monitor stock levels and make data-driven decisions for inventory and production management.
  • Analyze sales data and generate reports to optimize merchandising performance.
  • Collaborate with the VM team to ensure all products are visually appealing and well displayed in stores.

Qualification

  • Bachelors Degree or higher in business administration, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Buyer or Merchandiser with Retail business or related field.
  • Experience with assortment planning and monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge of business trends, market conditions, and products under responsibility.
  • Have analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Sense of ownership and ability to self-manage work.
  • Works effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Good in MS Office, especially in Excel.
