Develop and implement merchandising strategies to enhance sales and optimize inventory levels.
Understand customer trends, store characteristics, and product lineups, and reflect them in merchandising planning strategies on a yearly, monthly, and weekly basis to align with seasonal trends and company goals.
Work closely with retail sales teams to identify the business challenges and opportunities.
Monitoring inventory levels, analyzing sales data, and making informed decisions regarding stock replenishment, markdowns, and promotions if necessary.
Coordinate with the design team, procurement, and supply chain to ensure timely production and delivery.
Monitor stock levels and make data-driven decisions for inventory and production management.
Analyze sales data and generate reports to optimize merchandising performance.
Collaborate with the VM team to ensure all products are visually appealing and well displayed in stores.
Qualification
Bachelors Degree or higher in business administration, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 3 years experience in Buyer or Merchandiser with Retail business or related field.
Experience with assortment planning and monitoring.
Strong knowledge of business trends, market conditions, and products under responsibility.
Have analytical and negotiation skills.
Sense of ownership and ability to self-manage work.
