Design, implement, and maintain hybrid network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers, as well as software-defined networks.
Build and operate Active-Active Datacenters to ensure high availability and resiliency.
Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance for scalability, reliability, and security. Provide performance reports and maintain network monitoring tools.
Manage and maintain network inventory, configurations, and automated backups.
Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents in collaboration with other infrastructure teams.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers to meet SLA commitments, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
Research, evaluate, and apply new networking technologies to meet evolving business requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on datacenter environments.
Hands-on experience with Cisco and non-Cisco networking devices.
Solid knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and datacenter networking technologies.
Experience in firewalls, load balancers, and network security operations.
Familiarity with virtualization, software-defined networking (SDN), automation, and cloud connectivity.
Knowledge of QoS, DirectConnect, and Site-to-Site IPSec VPN.
Proficiency in network monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, ELK, Sensu).
Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, REST APIs; hands-on with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, RunDeck, NAPALM, libcloud.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills, with proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are an advantage.
