QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years in Electronic manufacturing field
- Accuracy when reviewing PCBA data packages, design specifications, other technical documents
- Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principle
- Proficiency in Stencil and PCB penalization design, with a focus on optimizing for manufacturing efficiency
- MS Office and Experience with CAD software is advantageous (Gerber viewer , Viewmate, CAD, E-drawing) Valor DFM, VayoPro-DFM Expert is prefer
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in various aspects of PCBA manufacturing.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to enhancing NPI processes
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Review PCBA data packages
- Analyze PCBA data packages for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address data package issues.
2. Provide DFM/DFA feedback to customers.
- Evaluate PCBA designs for Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) considerations.
- Communicate feedback to customers and manufacturing teams.
3. Manage PCB penalization design.
- Collaborate with PCB design teams to create penalization designs.
- Ensure penalization designs meet manufacturing and assembly requirements.
4. Manage stencil design and orders
- Create and maintain stencil designs for SMT and THT processes.
- Coordinate with suppliers for stencil orders and track delivery status.
5. Provide technical expertise.
- Offer technical guidance and support in PCB Laser Mark, SMT, THT, Conformal coating, Resin potting, and mechanical assembly processes, including machine program review.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in PCBA manufacturing and assembly, including leading troubleshooting efforts.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in PCBA manufacturing.
6. Support RFQ department for accurate quotes.
- Perform process simulation for SMT, THT Selective, Conformal Coating, and Potting processes.
- Collaborate with the RFQ team to provide technical input and cost estimation for quotes.
7. Translate Design Specifications.
- Interpret design specifications and translate them into optimized SMT and THT assembly processes.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure alignment between design intent and assembly executio.
8 Component Placement and SMT Setup.
- Set up SMT equipment and ensure accurate component placement on PCBs.
- Verify component accuracy and conduct inspections to ensure quality.
9. THT Process Management.
- Manage Through-Hole Technology (THT) processes, including wave soldering and manual soldering.
- Ensure compliance with soldering standards and quality control measures.
10. Complex Assembly Challenges.
- Identify and address complex assembly challenges, such as fine-pitch components, double-sided boards, and tight tolerances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
Welfare:
Work 5 days, Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
