Responsibilities:
- Oversee operational performance across multiple locations, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance productivity.
- Manage end-to-end factory relocation, ensuring minimal disruption to production and customer commitments.
- Develop a comprehensive transition roadmap, including asset transfer and workforce management.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices to optimize processes and eliminate waste.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor production scheduling and manage resources for maximum efficiency.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, controlling expenses while maintaining quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a proactive safety culture among teams.
- Mentor and cultivate the operations management team, fostering professional growth and development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Precision Engineering; Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 12 years experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and production management, with proven leadership and budget management skills.
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing is advantageous.
- Proven expertise in managing Profit & Loss, including budgeting and financial performance.
- Strong background in CNC machining for complex components.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
