Job Description

Job Overview:

Optimizes the supply chain by balancing inventory levels, managing international logistics, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Key duties include developing replenishment strategies, overseeing import compliance (duties, documentation), and leading teams to improve KPI performance.

Main Duties:

  • Import & Logistics Management: Oversee end-to-end import operations, including coordinating with freight forwarders, managing customs clearance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and negotiating shipping costs.
  • Inventory Replenishment Strategy: Analyze demand forecasts and market trends to establish optimal inventory levels, reducing both overstock and stockouts.
  • Order Management & Fulfillment: Manage Push order from placement to on time delivery.
  • Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination: Maintain relationships with overseas suppliers and collaborate with internal departments to align supply with demand.
  • Project Management: Define, plan, and execute projects to improve logistics, sourcing, and planning ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. They manage risks, coordinate cross-functional teams, and use data-driven insights to optimize supplier relationships, inventory levels, and overall operational efficiency.
  • KPI Tracking & Optimization: Monitor key metrics such as inventory turns, order fulfillment, demand plan accuracy, on time shipment clearance and landed costs to drive efficiency and report to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management is generally required.
  • 10+ years of experience in inventory management, supply planning, import or supply chain.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (e.g., Pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and experience with Data tools (e.g., Power BI, D365).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Import knowledge of international trade regulations, local regulations, customs documentation, classification, and Incoterms.
  • Proficient in managing demand and replenishment, including import, inventory and order management.
  • Skilled in using ERP systems (e.g., D365), Order Management Systems (OMS), and shipping tools to track orders and analyze data.
  • Strong capability to interpret supply/demand data, optimize costs, and quickly resolve logistical bottlenecks or delays.
  • High adaptability to supply chain disruptions, strong leadership, attention to detail, and cross-cultural communication abilities.
