Workplace type: On-site (up to 50% domestic travel)

Make a difference as Senior Process Engineer - Wastewater Treatment (WWT)
As Senior Process Engineer - WWT, you will lead the technical review, validation, and implementation of wastewater treatment and brine crystallization projects for Ingredion Thailand's starch manufacturing facilities. You will be the on-site engineering authority, collaborating with EPCm partners, consultants, and vendors to ensure safe, sustainable, and cost-effective wastewater operations that comply with environmental and corporate standards.

What you will do :

• Review and validate WWT designs (PFDs, P&IDs, mass balances, equipment sizing, datasheets)

• Ensure systems meet corporate environmental targets, Thai discharge standards, and industry best practices

• Evaluate and recommend brine treatment and crystallization technologies (thermal, membrane, etc.)

• Provide site support during construction, ensuring installation quality and design adherence

• Participate in FAT, SAT, and vendor inspections for WWT equipment and systems

• Support permitting and regulatory compliance processes with authorities

• Lead pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup of WWT and brine crystallization units

• Develop commissioning plans, punch lists, test procedures, and ensure O&M package handover

• Collaborate with global and regional engineering, EHS, and operations teams to ensure long-term operability

What you will bring :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering

• Minimum 8 years process engineering experience in industrial wastewater treatment

• Strong knowledge of biological (aerobic/anaerobic), membrane (RO/NF), and crystallization processes

• Skilled in process design review, mass balance, and technical documentation

• Familiarity with Thai environmental regulations and hazardous wastewater handling

• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and process simulation tools (Aspen, Biowin, GPS-X)

• Fluent in Thai and proficient in English (spoken and written)
