Procurement Associate/Senior

Responsible for developing, implementing and determining purchasing strategies, including business needs and/or utilization opportunities to create savings (Cost Saving) by coordinating with BUs, including being responsible for managing and coordinating relationships between domestic and international trading partners (Suppliers) under the performance evaluation process for the product types for which they are responsible.

Scope of Work

Covering product group Beer, Non Alcoholic Beverages (NAB) and affiliated companies in Cambodia

Direct report to Cambodia Procurement Manager and coordinate with Central Sourcing

Key Responsibilities

Set procurement strategies and control the implementation of procurement strategies at the operational level in line with the procurement policy.

Strategic planning in line with the company's operations and meet the needs of each unit in a timely manner to achieve maximum benefits and align with production planning

Study market conditions and monitor market movements related to the products under responsibility and provide information to support decision-making on supply.

Be able to analyze the cost of procurement work under responsibility and present the analysis results as a guideline for procurement.

Identify risks, analyze, assess impacts and plan for risk management of the product groups under responsibility.

Set negotiation strategies within the scope of one's responsibility, negotiate with business partners in line with the specified negotiation strategies (high risk).

Set evaluation of service providers, maintain relationships with strategic partners.

Procurement under budget and seek business opportunities and possibilities to increase strategic procurement volume and group.

Consider and approve purchase orders according to the approval authority in accordance with principles or policies.

Manage contracts and set service conditions to meet needs.

Set evaluation, monitor services, and evaluate the services of vendors to be in accordance with the schedule.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field

Have at least 3 years of experience and knowledge in procurement

Experience in the Beer and Non Alcoholic Beverages (NAB) industry is highly valued.

Proactive with strong initiative, analytical thinking, outstanding interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work with key stakeholders

Good in spoken and written English and Khmer is plus

Skills & Knowledge

Understand the procurement process (Sourcing to Contract_S2C, Procure to Pay_P2P)

Have knowledge and understanding of macroeconomics, trends, technology, market situations, and various information that affect the organization's business and can link and analyze them to benefit the work that is responsible.

Have strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical thinking, and are committed to studying and developing work all the time.

Job Complexity

Must have knowledge of the organization's products, production processes, storage, including related regulations or standards, to be used as information for presenting for the development of new products or improving the current process.

Must have in-depth knowledge of direct, knowledge of the movement of various related raw materials at the national, regional and global levels, economic conditions that affect prices, wars, epidemics, trade barriers, transportation systems, or all situations that are directly or indirectly related.
