Key Responsibilities
- Understand UX/UI design processes such as Design thinking, Corporate identity systems, visual design, communication design, user experience, user interaction and UI/UX design systems.
- Design User journey mapping, User flow, Wireframes, UI screen, prototypes for mobile applications.
- Collaborate with UX Writers, Product Owners, Business Units to define user problems, shape user journeys.
- Lead or facilitate design critiques, workshops, and cross-functional design discussions.
- Ensure the consistency of design elements through the use of design systems and help evolve them as needed.
- Ask questions and challenge stakeholders. Go beyond the brief to understand the why behind assumptions, ideas, and constraints to better inform the strategies on how we might tackle problems both big and small.
- Conduct usability testing sessions to gain better understanding of user responses and perceptions towards new proposed designs.
- Translate business requirements, user needs from user research into functional and emotional user experiences.
- Advocate Mentor and coach junior and mid-level designers, providing feedback and fostering a culture of continuous learning and design excellence.
- Stay updated with design trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related fields
- 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design for mobile application, delivering impactful projects that enhance user engagement, create seamless digital experiences, and elevate users emotional connection with products.
- Deep knowledge of design principles, including design thinking methodologies.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other industry-standard tools
- Strong critical and analytical thinking skills for problem-solving and design decision-making
- Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end digital product design process, including: User understanding (research, personas, journey maps), User experience design, User interface design, Interaction design
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively across teams
