Job Summary:
The PMO - Project Manager role at Quantium is a client-facing role responsible for coordinating projects, ensuring effective communication between the Development team, DevOps, Client Solutions team, and clients.
This role involves joining project kick-offs, gathering requirements, proposing UI/UX suggestions, coordinating timelines with Development team leads, and ensuring smooth release coordination with QA and DevOps.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination with internal Client Solutions team and end-clients:
- Join project kick-off meetings for client projects that require development, gather requirements, and provide guidance on project scope and objectives.
- Collaborate with the Client Solutions team to align project deliverables with client requirements and business objectives.Requirements Gathering:
- Work closely with Client Solutions team, clients and stakeholders to gather detailed project requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with business needs.
- Provide occasional functional and UI/UX suggestions based on industry best practices and customer feedback to enhance the user experiences
Development Team Coordination:
- Coordinate project timelines with different Development team leads, ensuring tasks are assigned, and progress is tracked effectively.
- Foster collaboration between the Development team and other teams involved in the project to drive seamless execution.
Release Coordination and User Acceptance Test:
- Coordinate release schedules with the QA team to ensure thorough testing, quality assurance, and timely deployment of software solutions. Engage in business logic test to ensure high quality releases
- Collaborate with DevOps to ensure smooth and efficient release processes, including version control and release documentation.
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies, to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular project status reports, highlighting progress, milestones, risks, and proposed actions to stakeholders.
- Maintain project documentation, including project charters, plans, requirements, and meeting minutes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a PMO role within IT-related functions
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Fluent in English - all client communications are conducted in English
- Knowledge in modern software development practices such as Agile, SCRUM, DevOps practices, and RESTful API frameworks is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles and the ability to provide suggestions for user-centric design improvements.
- Experience in gathering requirements and translating them into actionable project plans.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Trello, Jira) is a plus.
- Knowledge and interest in Fintech/ Private Markets investment/ fund accounting is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
