Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, knowledgeable individual with product development expertise to join our team as a Full-Time Product Owner who prioritizes product features and functionality to deliver maximum performance for end users. Evaluate the work generated by a software Scrum team. Salary up to 60K.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Product Manager to shape product strategy, vision, and roadmap, ensuring alignment between business objectives and development execution.
  • Translate business requirements, customer journeys, user experiences, and technical constraints into clear, actionable guidance for the development team.
  • Serve as the primary point of alignment between stakeholders and the Scrum team, championing the product vision and ensuring every team member understands the why behind the work.
  • Own and continuously refine the product backlog, prioritizing features and user stories based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Define and drive the development roadmap for the Scrum team, breaking down strategic goals into well-scoped epics, features, and sprint-ready stories.
  • Evaluate deliverables against acceptance criteria, balancing scope, resources, and timelines to ensure consistent, high-quality output.
  • Lead key Scrum ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews, to surface blockers, resolve product issues, and keep the team focused on high-impact work.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to improving product management practices across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a directly related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable product management role, preferably within the IT or software development industry.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading IT product or project development at a management level, with a track record of owning products from concept to launch.
  • Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks, particularly Scrum, with hands-on experience facilitating ceremonies and managing product backlogs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear product requirements and measurable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, QA, and business stakeholders, toward shared goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to mentor team members and drive continuous improvement in product practices.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
