Develop and maintain detailed short-term and long-term production schedules for commercial manufacturing, validation, engineering, and technology transfer activities.
Coordinate with Manufacturing, MSAT, Warehouse, QC, QA, Supply Chain, and Project teams to ensure schedules are feasible and executable.
Monitor production progress and proactively identify potential scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints.
Optimize utilization of manufacturing equipment, cleanrooms, personnel, and supporting resources.
Align production schedules with customer demand, project timelines, and business priorities.
Support startup planning and readiness activities for new manufacturing lines and facilities.
Track availability of materials, components, single-use systems, and consumables required for manufacturing.
Coordinate schedule changes resulting from deviations, equipment downtime, material shortages, client priorities, or project requirements.
Facilitate routine production planning meetings and communicate schedule updates to stakeholders.
Generate and maintain planning metrics, including schedule adherence, facility utilization, on-time delivery, and manufacturing lead times.
Support annual, quarterly, and monthly capacity planning exercises.
Prepare production forecasts and scenario analyses to support business decisions.
Work with QA, QC, and Warehouse teams to ensure alignment of batch release, sampling, testing, and material movement activities.
Support NPI, process validation, technology transfer, and commercial manufacturing campaigns.
Utilize ERP, MES, scheduling, and planning systems to manage production activities.
Ensure production plans comply with cGMP, quality requirements, and business objectives.
Support audit and inspection readiness related to production planning and scheduling activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business, Operations Management, or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, supply chain, or related functions.
Strong understanding of production planning, capacity management, and manufacturing scheduling principles.
Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing operations is desirable.
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CDMO, or aseptic manufacturing environments is preferred.
