Wood has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Engineer that has previous experience of working across Feasibility Studies and FEEDs, plus EPC and PMC projects. This is an opportunity for you to become a valuable, well-rounded of an experienced team.

Responsibilities

  • Function as Lead Project Engineer on assigned projects and coordinate / facilitate with other discipline engineers, designers, and contractor personnel to deliver all required aspects of service to meet the requirement
  • Execute assigned work in accordance with the Project Execution Plan, applicable Project Procedures and Standards, including Wood and / or Project Procedures on Safety and Quality Control within cost budgets and in accordance with project schedule targets
  • Coordinates and assures technical excellence of interdisciplinary project deliverables including coordinate inputs to and issue engineering deliverables such as Designs, Reports etc.
  • Fully proficient with the Technical contents of engineering deliverables like P&ID, Line List, Equipment List, Tie-in List, etc. Prepare and coordinate other discipline input to these deliverables prior to formal issue.
  • Chair technical / design review meeting and manage particular technical issues through the completion
  • Carry out coordination, acting as point of contact with engineering design team, contractors, owner, suppliers, and related project personnel.
  • Manage the project execution schedule, monitoring progress against the project schedule and report deviations. Carry out necessary actions on progress problem to ensure that progress is back on track

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical or related field
  • Min 10 years of experience in in engineering in oil and gas, petrochemical industry
  • Must have strong multi - discipline coordination skills and be able to plan work logically
  • Competent to manage and supervise the team in project type work (planning, scheduling, administration etc.),
  • Hardworking, proactive and possesses teamwork attitude with leadership and problem - solving skills
  • Good English communication skills
  • Proactive and strong leadership skills
