Job Overview Responsible for end-to-end project financial management—from budget planning and strategic project performance monitoring to managing cash flow for projects and portfolios. This role provides strategic, data-driven financial advice to executives. Candidates who can apply cross-functional skills across financial analysis, corporate finance, and business development will be given special consideration.
Scope of Responsibility & Decision-Making Authority
- Ownership: Own end-to-end project financial management with high autonomy.
- Authority: Possess the authority to propose and make preliminary approvals within assigned frameworks; directly contribute to executive-level presentations.
- Leadership: Supervise and mentor 1–3 junior project finance staff.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Project Financial Management
- Plan and manage large-scale project budgets from inception to completion (end-to-end).
- Establish project financing structures (funding structure, disbursement schedule).
2. Project Performance Monitoring & Advisory
- Conduct in-depth analysis of project performance, evaluate return on investment (ROI) against targets, and propose actionable improvements.
- Present project financial status directly to executives and key stakeholders.
3. Strategic Cash Flow Management
- Manage short-term and long-term cash flows for individual projects and overall portfolios.
- Assess project liquidity risks and proactively develop mitigation plans.
4. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Leverage skills in financial analysis, corporate finance, and business development to support new project evaluations and partner negotiations.
