Job summary
The Project Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing endtoend delivery of digital platform initiatives for the bank's customer-facing channels, including Mobile Banking, Web Application, and Tablet. This role ensures that projects are executed according to plan, delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and security required in financial services. This role plays a key part in accelerating the bank's digital by managing complex digital initiatives that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and scalability across all external digital channels.
Job description
- Lead the team to delivering the project/sprint execution plan and timeline of each project to ensure the delivery meets the target.
- Coordinate with related team to conduct the requirement portfolio prioritization in order to manage the delivery timeline of all requirements
- Manage projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Responsible for any special assignment assigned
- Track the progress of each squad's tasks.
- Report the progress of the project and action on timeline.
- Assist with the co-ordination of projects with IT with timely information provided to the teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in the field of Software Engineering, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related fields
- Minimum 7 years experience in Project management or Product/Process management or in IT solution design
- Self organized and self motivated
- Creativity and business mindset
- Strong analytical skills with systematic and structured approach to documenting business needs (modeling, requirement analysis) and problem solving
- IT fluency regarding architectures, application design and testing
- Good knowledge of Banking processes and products; both front & back office, both physical & digital
- Strong in project management and knowledge of software engineering methodologies (use cases, UML, entity/relationship, process modeling, test methods)
