Senior Purchasing Engineer
Job Description
- Oversee and control the procurement of raw materials and equipment to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Monitor and manage product and material costs to control spending and optimize budgets.
- Liaise with international suppliers and partners to source and import products for sale.
- Support and guide the procurement team to achieve maximum productivity and performance.
- Collaborate on proposing solutions to address and prevent operational issues identified through Corrective Action Reports (CAR).
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement and sourcing within an engineering environment.
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Solid knowledge and understanding of switchboard equipment and related components.
