About the Role
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer who is strong in both Manual and Automation Testing, and equipped with excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about driving product quality, mentoring others, and continuously improving testing processes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Technical
- Design and execute comprehensive Test Plans, Test Strategies, and Test Cases
- Develop and maintain Automated Test Suites using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) to ensure fast and reliable releases
- Conduct Manual and Exploratory Testing where automation is not applicable
- Identify and analyze defects, determine root causes, and collaborate with developers to ensure quick resolution
- Experience in Mobile Automation (Appium, Detox, or similar tools) is a plus
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor QA team members to improve both technical and interpersonal skills
- Plan QA resources, manage test priorities, and ensure quality alignment across projects
- Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams regarding quality risks and timelines
- Stay calm and decisive under pressure while maintaining high testing standards
- Promote a Quality-Driven Culture throughout the organization
Core Requirements
- 35+ years of experience in QA / Software Testing (Manual & Automation)
- Proven experience using Playwright for end-to-end automated testing
- Strong JavaScript / TypeScript skills and familiarity with Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, API)
- Deep understanding of Testing Methodologies, SDLC, and STLC
- Prior experience in a Lead or Mentorship role
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and accountability skills
- Growth mindset and eagerness to learn new tools and improve processes
- Ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Nice to Have
- Experience with Mobile Automation Tools (Appium, Detox, etc.)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Experience with Test Management Tools (TestRail, Zephyr, Xray)
- Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum environments
