About the Role
As a Senior Quality Assurance you are responsible for ensuring smooth, high-quality releases across the full software development lifecycle. You possess a strong foundation in test methodologies and tools across frontend and backend systems, including data and AI-driven applications. You act as a quality champion within the team, driving Shift-Left and Shift-Right practices, promoting automation and continuous improvement, and ensuring robust validation of modern systems including APIs, ETL pipelines, and LLM-powered features. As a senior member of the QA team, you serve as a role model and mentor supporting other QAs in both technical excellence and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the early development cycle following Shift-Left testing practices and provide timely quality feedback.
- Support Shift-Right practices by monitoring production quality, validating releases, and analyzing logs/metrics.
- Plan, estimate, prioritize, and execute functional, non-functional, integration, regression, and data validation testing.
- Design and perform ETL and data validation testing to ensure data integrity and transformation accuracy.
- Write and execute SQL queries for backend validation.
- Work with the team to perform test result analysis and root-cause analysis of the defects found to ensure appropriate corrective action is taken to maintain quality standards.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and/or TypeScript for web, API, data, and AI-driven systems.
- Validate AI/LLM-powered features, including prompt validation, output accuracy, consistency, and edge-case handling.
- Participate in testing agentic AI workflows and multi-step reasoning systems.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance testing efficiency and automation productivity.
- Maintain test documentation which includes test plan, test case scenarios, test execution reports (manual and/or automation), test summary reports, and defect reports.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
- Thai nationality, based in Bangkok, Thailand.
- 5 years + related QA work or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of Shift-Left and Shift-Right quality practices.
- Experience in functional, API, integration, regression, and ETL/data testing.
- Strong SQL knowledge for data validation and backend verification.
- Working knowledge of Python and/or TypeScript for automation development.
- Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), AI system validation, and agentic workflows.
- Experience with automation tools (Playwright, Robot Framework, etc.) and performance testing tools (JMeter, K6).
- Good knowledge of debugging with the help of developer tools like logs, databases, analytic tools, crash reports, etc.
- Prior exposure to collaborating tools like JIRA, Trello, Confluence, Google Docs, and internal Wiki.
- Excellent English language skills (oral and written).
