Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee and control Account Receivable by controlling and verifying invoices, contracts, payment documents and posting our financial transactions into accounting system.

Senior Accountant responsibilities include reconciling account receivable balances and bank statements and involving in preparing month-end close procedures. A successful Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial data and forecasts related to collection.

What you'll do:

• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile account receivable
• Review and improve internal process related to collection
• Directly communicate with customers to ensure the timely collection
• Review and support Sales team in document content matters
• Prepare AR reports and produce Cashflow projection
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
• Provide input into department's goal setting process
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure compliance with local GAAP principles
• Liaise with our Finance and Accounting Manager to improve financial procedures

About you:

• Proven experience as a senior AR Accounting function
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Awareness of business trends
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Hands-on experience with accounting software systems
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
