The Role & Working Culture
As our Founding Senior Recruiter in Bangkok, you will be the cornerstone of Base Camp's operational expansion and team-building efforts in Thailand. Working directly with our regional leadership team in Singapore, you will lead full-lifecycle recruitment—driving both Permanent Sourcing and Contract Staff Augmentation—while establishing local talent pipelines and anchoring our presence on the ground.

Key Responsibilities
1. 360° Recruitment & Sourcing (Permanent & Contract)
- Proactively headhunt, source, and interview top-tier technology talent for both permanent hires and flexible contract/subcontracting roles across Thailand and the wider region.
- Recruit across the full tech spectrum, including Software Engineering, Cloud/DevOps, Enterprise Software (SAP, Salesforce, Dynamics), Data/AI, Cyber Security, and Infrastructure Support.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: job profiling, proactive headhunting, technical screening, client presentation, salary negotiation, offer extension, and onboarding.
2. Solutions, Remote Workforce & Payroll Services
- Educate and partner with clients to implement Base Camp's full suite of services, including Staff Augmentation, Remote Dedicated Teams, Project Delivery, and Employer of Record (EOR)/Payroll Outsourcing.
- Act as a trusted advisor on local Bangkok tech salary benchmarks, employment regulations, contractor rate structures, and talent availability.
- Coordinate contractor onboarding and payroll administration in sync with our regional operations team.
3. Business Development & Client Engagement
- Prospect and convert new client opportunities across MNCs, regional enterprises, and high-growth tech firms in Bangkok seeking permanent talent, contract staffing, or outsourced HR/payroll management.
- Manage key account relationships, serving as the main operational contact for client hiring managers in Thailand.
4. Office & Team Culture Building
- Champion our collaborative, office-first culture in Bangkok—helping onboard, mentor, and build a cohesive local team as our operations expand.
- Partner closely with our Singapore headquarters to align recruitment workflows, delivery standards, and regional account strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 4 to 8+ years of 360° recruitment or agency talent acquisition experience in Bangkok / Thailand—covering both Permanent Placement and Contract/Staff Augmentation.
- Work Preference: Dedicated to working 100% on-site in our Bangkok office, driving a collaborative, high-energy team culture.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of modern technology stacks, enterprise software (ERP/CRM), infrastructure, and digital transformation roles.
- Service Scope Understanding: Familiarity with agency commission structures, contractor day/monthly margin models, and local employment/payroll practices in Thailand.
- Local Market Networks: Deep familiarity with the local Thai tech ecosystem, candidate pools, and hiring networks.
- Language Skills: High proficiency in English and Thai (written and spoken) for daily cross-border collaboration with Singapore HQ, regional clients, and local candidates.
- Mindset: An energetic, collaborative self-starter who excels in a team-centric office setting.
