Operational Controlling & Project Management (30%)
- Lead regional finance transformation projects including ERP implementations, reporting system upgrades, and process automation initiatives
- Manage cross-functional projects to optimize operational finance processes across APAC entities
- Develop and maintain regional financial models, forecasts, and performance dashboards
- Drive standardization of financial processes and reporting across the region
Finance Guideline Implementation & Compliance (30%)
- Implement and enforce corporate finance policies, procedures, and internal controls across APAC
- Develop regional adaptations of global finance guidelines considering local statutory requirements
- Conduct training and workshops to ensure consistent application of financial policies
- Monitor compliance with corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements
Internal Audit & Control (30%)
- Design and maintain effective internal control frameworks for APAC operations
- Conduct periodic reviews of control effectiveness and implement improvement actions
- Manage risk assessment processes and develop mitigation strategies
- Investigate control deficiencies and drive corrective action plans
- Investigate and review taxation compliance topics during internal audit, with assistance from external auditor or local tax consultant.
Regional Leadership & Advisory (10%)
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Advise regional management on financial implications of operational decisions
- Support M&A integration activities and post-merger financial process alignment
- Develop and mentor finance teams across the region
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/CA or equivalent certification preferred
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial controlling, audit, or finance operations
- Minimum 2 years in a regional role covering multiple APAC countries
- Proven experience leading finance transformation projects and system implementations
- Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks and audit methodologies
- Experience developing and implementing finance policies and procedures
- Fluency in English; additional Asian language proficiency preferred

- Reports to: Regional Finance Director
- Location: Bangkok or Shanghai
- Travel: Approximately 20-40% across APAC region
