The Senior Regional Finance Analyst plays a key role in driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting across multiple countries in the region. This senior position partners closely with country finance leaders, regional executives, and functional stakeholders to shape financial performance, influence decision-making, and strengthen the region's financial governance and strategic direction.
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Consolidation
- Provide oversight, direction, and review of regional financial performance reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual). Ensure accuracy, consistency, and meaningful insights for executive decision-making.
Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the regional long-term planning, budgeting and forecasting process, overseeing P&L, cash flow, and scenario modelling. Drive alignment across countries and ensure robust financial assumptions and methodologies.
Business Partnering
- Be a finance business partner to country leadership teams, providing strategic financial insight, challenge, and guidance. Build strong relationships with Country GMs and Finance Managers to influence decision-making, enhance financial performance, and ensure alignment with regional strategywithout functioning as a transactional support desk.
Treasury & Cash optimization
- Take ownership of regional treasury strategy, including cash pooling, liquidity planning, and working capital efficiency. Provide oversight while ensuring countries remain responsible for managing their own cash flow and proactively addressing issues. Partner with Group Treasury to improve cash visibility, forecasting discipline, and funding structures across the region.
Business Insight & Analysis
- Own the preparation of the board pack and senior management materials. Deliver high-quality, forward-looking insights and recommendations to the CFO/CEO, highlighting risks, opportunities, trends, and performance drivers.
Budget Management
- Oversee regional office budget governance, partnering with regional department heads to ensure disciplined financial management and cost optimisation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline; a professional qualification (CPA, CA, CIMA, ACCA) is strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in FP&A, financial leadership, or related functions, with regional or multi-country exposure.
- Experience from a Big 4 audit firm is a strong advantage, particularly in audit, assurance, or advisory related to financial reporting or controls.
- Proven ability to lead complex financial planning cycles, drive insight, and influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience working in MNC environments; logistics or supply chain industry exposure is an advantage but not required.
- Strong communication and executive-level presentation skills; confident engaging with senior leaders across cultures.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining high-quality output.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with a track record of shaping business decisions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with TM1 (Planning Analytics) is a significant advantage, with the ability to oversee system improvements.
