Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute software and infrastructure deployments across all environments.
- Govern release scope, schedules, dependencies, and deployment readiness.
- Provide end-to-end visibility of release activities, deployment status, and release progress to stakeholders.
- Coordinate release planning with Development, QA, Infrastructure, and Business teams.
- Validate deployment readiness, including approvals, deployment packages, rollback plans, and release documentation.
- Manage deployment execution and monitor release outcomes to ensure successful implementation.
- Drive continuous improvements in release processes, deployment automation, and release governance.
- Identify and mitigate release risks while ensuring compliance with change management policies.
- Prepare post-release reports and coordinate post-deployment reviews.
Experience / Special Skill
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- at least 5 years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, Software Delivery, Change Management, or IT Operations.
- Experience managing software and infrastructure deployments in production environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Huawei Cloud) and container technologies is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ITIL Change and Release Management practices.
- Strong release planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple releases and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure during critical production releases.
