The role of a Senior Reliability Engineer is to plan and execute stress test plans for new product releases, product revisions, manufacturing changes, and reliability monitoring. The Senior Reliability Engineer oversees the reliability engineering & reliability operations activities. The Senior Reliability Engineer leads team in problem solving and root cause analysis of qualification failures and drives appropriate corrective and preventive actions using structured problem-solving methods.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS EE, ECE, Materials, Physics, or related field
  • With 3-5 years semiconductor industry experience in packaging, wafer fabrication, test, design, or device physics.
  • Proficient in reliability statistical calculations such as MTTF, MTBF, Weibull, FIT
  • Familiarity with industry standards, MIL-STD-883, JESD-47, JESD-94, J-STD-020, AEC-Q100, etc.
  • Experience leading structured problem-solving teams using six sigma methodologies and 8D's
  • Proficient in technical writing, project management, and independent research
  • Possess continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficient in English language

  • Develop and execute qualification plans, reliability evaluations, and risk assessments
  • Performing reliability statistical calculations, such as MTTF, MTBF, FIT, and failure rate modeling
  • Progressing product/technology through the product development cycle.
  • Provides support for reliability lab operations.
  • Leading structured problem-solving teams using six sigma, 8D methodologies
  • Communicating and interpreting qualification requirements within a cross-functional environment.
  • Identifying and planning for application specific mission profiles
