Job Summary

BDC is looking for a Senior Resource Development Manager to lead resource acquisition, partnership establishment, and government approval coordination for our business expansion in Thailand. This role will focus on securing critical resources for data center development, industrial projects, or real estate-related initiatives, while navigating local regulatory processes and building strong stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate will be a local Thai professional with bilingual proficiency and deep expertise in Thailand's industrial or data center ecosystem, driving efficient resource mobilization to support business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end resource development for data center, industrial, or real estate projects in Thailand, including site selection, supplier/partner identification, and resource allocation optimization.
  • Proactively identify and tap into local resources (e.g., industrial parks, infrastructure providers, government agencies) to meet project requirements and business objectives.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of government approval documents: research regulatory requirements, prepare submission materials, liaison with relevant authorities (e.g., local municipalities, industrial development boards), and ensure timely completion of approvals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments, industry associations, real estate developers, and data center operators to enhance resource accessibility and policy understanding.
  • Conduct market research on Thailand's industrial development policies, real estate trends, and data center industry dynamics to provide strategic insights for resource planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Chinese-speaking stakeholders) to align resource development plans with overall business strategies, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
  • Track project progress, mitigate risks related to resource acquisition or approval delays, and propose contingency plans to keep initiatives on track.
  • Report regularly on resource development status, approval progress, and market insights to regional and global leadership teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Real Estate Management, or a related field.
  • Above 8 years experience in the data center-related industry (e.g., data center development, infrastructure deployment, or data center operations in Thailand). Or relevant work experience in the real estate industry (e.g., industrial real estate, commercial property development).
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively source and secure resources based on project needs.
  • Familiarity with Thailand's government approval processes and documentation requirements for industrial/real estate projects.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills to engage effectively with government officials, business partners, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with cross-border collaboration dynamics (experience working with Chinese teams or multinational companies is advantageous).
  • Fluent verbal and written proficiency in Thai and English; Chinese is a plus.

If you're ready to be part of a global data centres organization that values growth, innovation, and equal opportunities, this could be the next step in your career. We believe in building a culture where everyone can develop their potential and contribute meaningfully.
