Job Description:
As the Risk Management Manager at Pi Securities PCL, you will oversee the firm's risk management framework, ensuring financial stability, regulatory compliance, and effective risk mitigation. You will work closely with management to identify, assess, and manage risks across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain risk management policy and procedure for market, credit, liquidity, operational, and IT risks.
- Propose and implement risk mitigation strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Integrate data analytics and quantitative tools (stress testing, scenario analysis, risk model i.e. VaR) into risk monitoring.
- Ensure that risk management standards are compliance with SET and SEC regulations
- Support necessary data to internal and external audits
- Prepare daily risk reports and dashboards for senior management and committees.
- Promote a strong risk culture, conduct risk assessments with business units, and provide staff training.
- Other tasks assigned by Head of Risk Management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Quantitative Analysis, or related field.
- 3 10 years of experience in the Thai securities or financial services industry.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability (i.e. pivot table, complex formulas, Power Query, data visualization).
- Experience in building or maintaining risk models, dashboards, or monitoring tools to support risk assessment.
- Good understanding of the company's financial products and services, including their inherent risks and risk drivers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a multitasking environment.
- Ability to develop and automate analysis using VBA, SQL, or other scripting tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of international derivatives markets is a plus.
- Good command of English.
