About the Role
The Senior Risk Manager will be responsible for identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating risks across the organization, with a focus on continuity in risk management, compliance, and reporting functions. This role will oversee risk across trading, operations, and new product initiatives, while also supporting audits, licensing, and regulatory submissions. You will work closely with senior leadership and regulators to ensure that our risk framework meets both business and regulatory requirements under Thai SEC and AMLO regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a risk management framework covering market, operational, liquidity, and IT/cyber risks.
- Ensure continuity in risk management, compliance, and reporting across the exchange.
- Oversee risk monitoring for trading activities, token volatility, exposure limits, and liquidity management.
- Strengthen internal controls, monitoring frameworks, and incident management processes.
- Provide independent risk oversight for operations and new product initiatives.
- Support ongoing audits, licensing processes, and regulatory submissions to the Thai SEC, AMLO, and other authorities.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, scenario planning, and stress testing.
- Prepare risk dashboards and reports for senior management and the Board.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Finance, Product, and IT teams to ensure risks are identified and mitigated early.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
- 510 years of experience in risk management, preferably in financial services, fintech, or digital assets.
- Strong knowledge of financial and crypto markets.
- Familiarity with the Thai regulatory landscape, including SEC and AMLO requirements.
- Proven experience in audits, licensing, or regulatory submissions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate risk topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with risk systems, monitoring tools, and dashboards.
- Fluent in English and Thai.
