Senior Risk Operations

Job Responsibilities:

Independently conduct on-site due diligence for key merchants/partners, deliver risk assessment reports, and track high-risk issues to drive solutions.

Develop and manage local due diligence outsourcing resources, establish a supplier database, and continuously optimize collaboration processes and quality.

Execute localized pre-implementation risk assessments for new business ventures and scenarios, providing risk evaluations and strategic recommendations.

Document due diligence methodologies and risk cases, and enhance investigation tools and team knowledge systems.

Advice and propose recommendations to local Risk and Compliance procedures, not limited to AMLCFT and customer due diligence procedures, aligning to Vietnam regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Serve as the primary point of contact with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and financial institutions, for all risk and compliance-related matters in Thailand.

The candidate we are looking for is:

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Finance, Law, Auditing, Economics, Management, or related fields.
• 7+ years of experience in risk control, auditing, or compliance investigation within finance, payments, e-commerce, or supply chain sectors, with substantial on-site due diligence experience.
• Familiarity with business models and risk factors in at least one of the following areas: cross-border trade, new retail, or financial services.
• Strong analytical, cross-departmental communication, and report-writing skills, with readiness for frequent business travel.
• Prior experience in outsourcing resource management or new business risk assessment is preferred.
• Proficiency in English as a working language is required; candidates with additional Chinese language skills will be given priority consideration.
