Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets through distributors and direct customers.
- Drive new business opportunities with existing and new customers, including upcoming programs and projects.
- Act as the main contact for customer enquiries and support activities from early project stage through product launch.
- Coordinate samples and required documents for customer NPI builds to position the company as a key sourcing partner.
- Record, monitor, and update all project activities and progress in the sales system.
- Ensure a healthy pipeline of new projects to support long-term business growth.
- Discuss and agree on pricing and allocation matters with customers.
- Prepare special pricing requests and work closely with pricing and product teams to maintain market competitiveness.
- Collect customer demand and provide accurate forecasts to the factory through the assigned system.
- Manage and negotiate VMI arrangements when applicable, ensuring inventory levels are well controlled and regularly reviewed.
- Review and assess customer quality issues and complaints.
- Work with internal quality teams when product-related issues are confirmed.
- Negotiate general commercial terms with customers, including payment and delivery conditions.
- Review contract details before submitting them for legal review when required.
- Provide regular updates on market conditions and competitor activities to management.
- Coordinate with customers and the finance team to resolve critical accounts receivable issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 3-8 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the automotive, or electronic manufacturing industry.
- Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and ISO standards is an advantage.
