POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior/Sales engineer actively drives the ZwickRoell sales process, achieves the annual sales objectives in the designated territory with primary focus on Singapore. The Senior/Sales engineer ensures a sustainable mid to long-term growth. He/She consults, excites existing customers and wins new customers in an international environment by applying global and localized ZwickRoell Group strategies, guidelines & policies. By sharing the same ZwickRoell values and spirit he/she becomes an interactive valuable contributor in our diverse and intercultural environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, qualify, and develop sales opportunities of both machine and service sales through customer visits and proactive lead management.
- Consult customers by leveraging on ZwickRoell Xperience Centre, product demonstrations, pre-testing capabilities, in collaboration with the regional application and industry experts.
- Prepare, review, and deliver quotations, and process customer orders to ensure compliance with technical and commercial requirements.
- Achieve annual sales targets and strategic objectives by applying ZwickRoell TopSell sales methodology.
- Drive lead generation initiatives and organize customer-focused events, including seminars, webinars, and exhibitions in collaboration with the regional marketing team.
- Maintain accurate and timely data on accounts, contacts, opportunities, forecasts, and marketing campaigns within the CRM system.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and support business development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, industry associations, and influencers, including through professional networking platforms and events.
- Support additional business initiatives, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Materials / Mechanical / Aerospace)
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in premium capital equipment, preferably within the materials science, testing, or mechanical engineering industries.
- Prior experience in materials testing, analytical instrumentation, measurement technologies, or related technical fields would be an advantage.
- Customer-focused with a strong passion for delivering value-added solutions and achieving successful outcomes for customers.
- Highly motivated, diligent, and committed, with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with customers and collaborate across internal teams.
- Demonstrates a strong desire for personal and professional growth, with a commitment to contributing to the company's long-term success.
- Strong command of written and spoken English; proficiency in an additional local language is an advantage.
