Job Description

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager, Sales is responsible for driving sales growth, market expansion, and customer engagement for Portable CMM (PCMM) products across Thailand and Vietnam. Leading a team of Sales Managers/Engineers and Application Engineers, the role is accountable for achieving both project and aftermarket (AFM) revenue targets, strengthening customer relationships, expanding market share, and ensuring high-quality after-sales support.

The role focuses on growing recurring aftermarket business such as service contracts, spare parts, upgrades, and lifecycle solutions, while building long-term customer partnerships and increasing installed base opportunities. It requires strong technical and commercial expertise in PCMM solutions, with the ability to engage customers across industries such as manufacturing, aerospace, and energy, and to collaborate effectively with internal teams and channel partners to deliver sustainable business growth and excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Target Achievement: Develop and execute sales plans to achieve annual growth targets, including aftermarket revenue, across Thailand and Vietnam.
  • Market Expansion & Positioning: Promote and expand PCMM product presence while driving early customer engagement and specification activities.
  • Business Development: Identify new opportunities, key accounts, channel partners, and strategic projects to grow the business.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, EPCs, system integrators, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Sales Execution & Collaboration: Lead end-to-end sales activities, ensure timely follow-ups, monitor market trends, and collaborate with regional teams to effectively position solutions.
  • Team Leadership & Performance Management: Lead, coach, and develop the team by setting clear KPIs, conducting performance reviews, and driving continuous development.
  • Team Effectiveness & Alignment: Foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture while ensuring strong resource planning, communication, and alignment between sales and service teams.
  • Customer Support & Service Delivery: Oversee after-sales services, ensuring effective commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and strong customer satisfaction.
  • Aftermarket Business Growth: Drive recurring service revenue through contracts, upgrades, spare parts, and lifecycle solutions.
  • Service Quality & Coordination: Monitor service performance, ensure compliance, and collaborate with internal technical teams to resolve complex issues and improve operations.
  • Financial Planning & Performance Monitoring: Develop sales budgets, forecasts, and business plans while tracking sales performance and growth trends.
  • Governance & Commercial Control: Ensure compliance with company policies, review pricing and commercial terms, and maintain proper approval processes.
  • Reporting & Operational Coordination: Maintain accurate CRM data and reports, provide management updates, and support inventory planning with operations and supply chain teams.
  • Regional Business Coordination & Market Execution: Drive aligned sales and service activities across Thailand and Vietnam, while managing channel partners, supporting customers through regular engagement, and operating effectively across diverse cultural and business environments.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Technical background related to industrial process control, instrumentation, or PCMM products preferred.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in technical sales, industrial automation, instrumentation, process control, PCMM products, or related engineering industries.
  • At least 3–5 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Experience managing both sales and service teams is highly preferred.
  • Strong exposure to industrial customers in sectors such as oil & gas, power, chemicals, manufacturing, marine, or process industries.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing strategic customer relationships.
  • Strong understanding of PCMM products, industrial instrumentation, process control, monitoring systems, or industrial automation solutions
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and business development capability
  • Technical aptitude to support customer discussions and solution positioning

  • Customer relationship and account management capability
  • Experience with CRM systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to manage regional coordination and multiple priorities effectively
