Position: SAP Basis Manager (BASIS & ABAP | S/4HANA)
Note: This position is open to Thai nationals only
Seeking SAP Basis Managers with expertise in BASIS, experience leading ABAP teams, and a proven track record in end-to-end S/4HANA implementation and RISE with SAPs
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage SAP technical team, including BASIS and ABAP developers
- Analyze business requirements and recommend suitable SAP technical solutions (S/4HANA, infrastructure, cloud)
- Design and oversee SAP system architecture to align with business needs
- Manage SAP BASIS activities: installation, configuration, upgrades, and system maintenance
- Monitor and optimize system performance (memory, batch jobs, database operations)
- Oversee Transport Management System (TMS) and ensure smooth system landscape movement (DEV → QA → PRD)
- Collaborate with ABAP team on development, customization, and integration activities
- Ensure system security, user authorization, and compliance standards
- Plan and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
- Support multiple projects and ensure the timely delivery of technical workstreams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation and administration
- At least 5 years of experience as SAP BASIS Team Lead or in a technical leadership role
- Proven experience managing or working closely with ABAP development teams
- Strong expertise in SAP BASIS, system architecture, database, and OS administration
- Hands-on experience in installation, upgrades, performance tuning, and system monitoring
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Good command of English (spoken and written)
- SAP S/4HANA certification is a plus
Preferred Skills (Optional but Advantageous)
- Experience in SAP cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or SAP BTP)
- Knowledge of SAP integration tools (e.g., CPI)
- Experience in large-scale SAP implementation projects
