Senior Site Reliability Engineer Azure, AKS, Terraform | Global Platform team Hyderabad

We're expanding our global Platforms team supporting a fast-growing SaaS product used by thousands of organizations worldwide. If you're a Software Engineer at heart with strong DevOps/Infrastructure chops and a passion for building reliable, scalable systems — this is for you.

You'll join a globally distributed Site Reliability & Platform Engineering team operating in a follow-the-sun model, working across a multi-region cloud platform.

What You'll Own

• Drive platform reliability — mitigation strategies, operational playbooks, and RCAs/blameless post-mortems
• Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems
• Participate in on-call rotations for rapid incident response
• Scale cloud infrastructure to handle growing traffic and data
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC
• Tune and monitor databases for high availability and performance
• Partner with product engineering to build observable, fit-for-purpose software
• Help define SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs across teams
• Mentor through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's in CS, IT, or related field
• 3+ years in Platform Engineering, SRE, or Software Engineering
• 1+ years on a SaaS platform
• Strong, past C#/ Python / Java programming experience
• Production experience with Kubernetes
• Proficiency with Azure
• Hands-on with Terraform (preferred), Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python
• Experience with DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.

Nice to Have

• CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy)
• Cloud or DevOps certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, CKA)
• MSSQL performance tuning experience.
