As a Senior Software Engineer II (SDE II), you will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling high-performance web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will work across the full technology stack, collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Business teams, and take ownership of key product initiatives from ideation to deployment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering problems, writing clean and scalable code, and building products that create meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development & Product Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js, Nest.js).
• Build reusable, modular, and high-quality components that enhance application performance and maintainability.
• Translate business requirements and product specifications into elegant technical solutions.
• Own features end-to-end—from technical design and development to deployment and post-release monitoring.

Engineering Excellence & Architecture

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to engineering best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions that improve scalability and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and help maintain a high engineering quality bar across the team.
• Continuously improve application performance, security, and overall system reliability.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Execution

• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and fellow Engineers to define, prioritize, and deliver product features.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure high-quality releases through effective testing and validation.
• Support technical discussions, sprint planning, and estimation activities within the engineering team.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to fostering a collaborative engineering culture.

Performance Optimization & Problem Solving

• Identify bottlenecks and optimize applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot production issues, debug complex technical problems, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Monitor application health and proactively improve system stability and user experience.

Quality, Testing & Continuous Improvement

• Develop and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure application reliability.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for applications, APIs, and engineering processes.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices, driving continuous improvements within the engineering team.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of experience in full-stack software development using the MERN stack.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, NestJS and Node.js.
• Experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development
• Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
• Exposure to Docker, cloud platforms (AWS preferred), CI/CD pipelines, or containerized deployments is desirable.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable solutions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
