Senior Software Engineer (Golang, Next.js)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Golang.
• Build and enhance modern web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Design and implement cloud-native, microservices-based architectures on cloud platforms (GCP is preferred).
• Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, and other Software Engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while following software engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and system architecture design.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and release processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and continuously improve development practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong experience with Golang for backend development.
• Experience building frontend applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication (JWT/OAuth), and web application architecture.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
• Experience with Docker and containerized application deployment.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, system design, and scalable application architecture.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Firebase Firestore, or Redis.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Playwright, Jest, Cypress, etc.).
• Knowledge of GraphQL or gRPC.
• Experience building high-traffic or enterprise-scale applications.
