Senior Software Engineer II

About the Role

At Aurigo, we build industry-leading enterprise SaaS products that solve complex, real-world infrastructure challenges. As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will play a key role in designing and building scalable, high-performance applications within our flagship platform, Aurigo Masterworks.

This is a high ownership, hands-on engineering role where you will contribute across the stack, influence technical decisions, and drive quality engineering practices, while mentoring junior team members.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-performance web applications using .NET and modern front-end frameworks
• Translate business requirements into clean, efficient, and maintainable technical solutions
• Take end-to-end ownership of features/modules – from design to production support
• Contribute to system design discussions and architectural improvements
• Write clean, reusable, and well-tested code following best engineering practices
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and quality benchmarks
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Design and write efficient database queries and ensure data integrity
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance product capabilities
• Actively participate in Agile development processes (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues
• Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence
• Continuously improve engineering practices, tools, and processes

What You Bring

• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in web application development using Microsoft .NET technologies
• Strong expertise in C#, ASP.Net, .Net Core, and Microservices architecture
• Solid experience with React.js (Hooks, Redux) and modern front-end development
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, Web services, and distributed systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server / PostgreSQL and RDBMS fundamentals
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Familiarity with design patterns, system design principles, and clean architecture
• Experience with third-party integrations is a plus
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments
• Experience working in a product-based or enterprise SaaS environment is preferred
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
