Responsibilities:

• Determines technical feasibility of high to medium complexity features or solutions by evaluating problem, customer requirements, possible solutions and technology requirements.
• Exercises judgement in prioritizing tasks and selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Create low-level design of modules of a software application through proper documentation and diagrams.
• Develops software solutions by studying requirements, clarifying customer/user needs, analyzing data and processes, and following established software development practices and processes.
• Continuously improve the quality, consistency, maintainability, efficiency, and security of the software to deliver an exceptional product Develops proof of concepts for technical evaluation and early customer feedback.
• Updates and shares knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing technology; reading professional publications.

Requirements:

• B.Tech/B.S. or M.Tech/M.S. in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate), and object-oriented programming principles.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle), SQL optimization, and messaging platforms such as Kafka or Rabbit MQ.
• Experience with cloud-native application development using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP, along with Git and CI/CD tools.
• Hands-on experience working with caching frameworks (e.g., Redis, Hazelcast) to improve application performance.
• Good understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, API management, messaging, caching, and observability concepts.
• Experience with advanced socket programming and communication protocols is preferred.
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring frameworks/tools is an added advantage.
• Strong engineering practices, including unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito), code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional Agile team and contribute to technical design and implementation discussions.
• Effective and responsible use of AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity while maintaining high standards of code quality, security, and maintainability.
