• Jira MA and Cloud Migration Specialist
• Experience - 8-12 Years
• Location- Noida India
• We are looking for a Jira MA and Cloud Migration Specialist to lead the consolidation and migration of Jira environments in the context of mergers and acquisitions In this role you will be responsible for assessing acquired Jira instances defining the target architecture in Atlassian Cloud and executing end to end migration projects in partnership with IT Security and business stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and assessment of Jira instances across acquired organizations including apps integrations customizations and third party plugins eg ScriptRunner JEMH automation and in house plugins
• Design target Jira Cloud architectures and consolidation strategies aligned to our enterprise standards
• Plan and execute Jira migrations from Server Data Center to Cloud including test runs data mapping cutover activities and migration of third party and custom plugins
• Analyze and migrate critical integrations and automation sincluding Groovy Script Runner scripts and JEMH configurations re implementing them in Jira Cloud Automation Forge REST API as needed
• Convert in house plugins built in Java for Data Center to Atlassian Forge or Cloud compatible solutions
• Implement governance and best practices for Jira configurations permissions and Marketplace apps in Cloud
• Collaborate closely with MA Enterprise Applications Security and business teams to ensure low risk compliant migrations
• Provide hypercare and ongoing optimization following migrations continuously simplifying and standardizing our Jira landscape
• Serve as a Jira subject matter expert in MA due diligence and integration workstreams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• 8 years of hands on Jira administration experience Server Data Center and Cloud with deep knowledge of Jira configuration schemes workflows custom fields permissions and governance
• Demonstrated experience leading at least one large scale Jira Cloud migration or multi instance consolidation involving third party plugins and customizations
• Strong hands on experience with Data Center to Cloud migration plugin compatibility assessment app alternatives and re implementation of server side logic in Cloud
• Proven ability to convert Script Runner Groovy scripts to Jira Cloud compatible solutions Cloud automation rules Forge apps REST API or equivalent
• Experience with JEMH Jira Email Handler or similar email to ticket solutions and migrating their configuration behavior to Cloud
• Experience with Atlassian migration tools eg JCMA and Atlassian Cloud administration
• Exposure to MA integration projects or complex multi org environments
• Familiarity with Java based Data Center plugins and ability to redesign rebuild them for Atlassian Forge or Cloud native approaches
• Strong communication stakeholder management and documentation skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience converting in house Java plugins Data Center to Atlassian Forge development for Cloud
• Experience with Jira Service Management and Confluence migrations
• Experience with Atlassian Access SSO and identity integrations
• Hands on development or customization with Atlassian Forge andor Connect REST API for Cloud
• Experience in regulated or enterprise environments eg SOX GDPR
