About The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled
Senior Software Engineer – Power BI Embedded to design, develop, and maintain interactive analytics and reporting solutions for our multi-tenant SaaS platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in
Power BI Embedded,
MySQL,
MongoDB, API integrations, and data modeling. You will work closely with product managers, backend engineers, and UI developers to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance embedded analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI Embedded reports and dashboards for a SaaS application.
- Integrate Power BI Embedded using REST APIs, Embedded Tokens, Service Principals, and Azure Active Directory.
- Develop interactive dashboards, KPIs, drill-through reports, and custom visualizations.
- Design and optimize data models for reporting using MySQL and MongoDB.
- Create efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and aggregation logic for large datasets.
- Build data connectors and integrate data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Develop ETL/data transformation processes where required.
- Optimize report performance for large-scale multi-tenant environments.
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and tenant-based data isolation.
- Work closely with backend teams to expose APIs for reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to seamlessly integrate reports into the web application.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in reports, datasets, and databases.
- Maintain documentation for reports, datasets, and embedded analytics architecture.
- Ensure security, scalability, and best practices for embedded analytics.

- Experience with Git version control.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Microsoft Power BI Certification.
- Azure Certification.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience with large enterprise reporting systems.
- Understanding of AI-powered analytics and Copilot features in Power BI.
