Job Summary:
Senior/LeadFull-stackEngineer willbe working with a squad of 3-4software engineersresponsible fordesigning,developing,and providingsoftwarepackagethendeployon production server.Senior/LeadFull-stackEngineermustensurethatthesoftwareis built with high qualitystandardandmeetthe committed delivery timeline.Thisrole requires strong technicalexpertise, ownership of endtoend development, and the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams. Engineers are expected toprovidetechnical guidance, contribute to architectural decisions, and elevate engineering standards within the team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy highquality software components.
- Ensure all deliverables meet functional, technical, security, and performance requirements.
- Investigate and resolve integration orproductionincidentsin a timely manner.
- Provideaccurateestimations and contribute to sprint planning and backlogrefinement.
- Maintainhigh standardsof software quality within the team byestablishinggood practicesandhabits, andmake sure that the standards and practices that have been set are followed by the team.
- Work closely with Product to clearly understand therequirementand canidentifywhatneedsto be developed and improved. Participate in planning sessions to provideanaccurateestimationof the requirements provided.
- Support Juniorengineerby providing technical guidance and constructive feedback,sharingknowledge,advocatingfor best practices,andcontributingto team capability building.
- Keep up withindustrybest practices and trends on behalf of the development team and the larger engineering team.Conductresearch, tests, andimplementnewtechniquesthat can be reused and applied to any site/software development project.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skill, and Competency)
- 5-10years of experience inwebfrontend technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, Less/Sass, AJAX, Web Components)andone ofthe backend service technologies (Java, Node.js, Golang)
- Experience in usingone ofthe modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g.Angular, React, Vue.js)
- Experienceandinterest in Blockchain and Smart Contract development, Web3 or relatedtechnologies.
- Knowledge of web service and its related technologies
- Good understanding ofmicroservice architecture
- Experience in working with SQL/NoSQL Database (e.g.MySQL, MongoDB), can write effective SQL statements
- Experience in using or building CI/CD workflow for a web application project
- Experience in using Git as a source code version management tool
- Experience in mobile application development is a plus (iOS, Android)
- Knowledge of online security practices and protocols
- Confidence to challenge the status quo, communicatenew ideas, and provide informed opinions
- Strong presentation and modelling skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to be personable yet persistent, with potential to motivate and cultivate team
- Systematic thinking, good problem-solving skills
- Good command of English
