The BI team is responsible for design, developing, and maintaining data models, dashboards, reports and analytical tools to support business decision-making. The role involves data preparation, ETL process development, and automation of data workflows to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Engineering & Pipeline Development
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources to the target data warehouse, data Lakehouse
- Collaborate with the internal team to align on data sources, business definitions, and functional logic updates
- Ensure data used in dashboards/reports is accurate, complete, up-to-date, and consistency across platforms
- Dashboards & Reporting
- Develop dashboards and reports (AWS QuickSight, SQL Reporting Server) for management, product, finance, and BD teams
- Develop an automated report for internal and external use
- Perform deep-dive analysis on transaction trends, payment success rates, and revenue leakage
- Support ad-hoc analyses to answer critical business questions from management and the internal team
- Governance & Compliance
- Implement data classification, access controls, and row-level security (RLS) by country or product
- Align data structures with business needs
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills (complex queries, optimization in Redshift, Athena, Databricks Spark SQL)
- Strong in Python for data cleaning, automation, and exploratory data analysis(EDA)
- Experience with BI tools (AWS QuickSight, SQL Reporting Services)
- Experience in Big Data using Databricks, Spark for big data processing
- Experience in Data Warehouse, Data Lakehouse, ETL and BI tools
- Strong problem-solving, business analysis, and communication skills
- Strong communication skills in English
- Detail-oriented and high responsibility
Working Conditions
- May be required to work on-call or outside regular business hours for emergency support or maintenance
- May involve working with global teams across different time zones
