Senior/Staff Engineer, C Software and DevOps

We're looking for a passionate Senior / Staff Engineer, C# Software and DevOps Engineer to design, build, and support a globally distributed software landscape powering the production and service of hightech instruments.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and support a globally distributed software environment for manufacturing and service operations.
• Work within an international Scrum team to build robust solutions using C#, .NET Core, across Windows and Linux platforms.
• Collaborate closely with production and service engineers and managers to define requirements, analyse complex issues, and deliver scalable software solutions.
• Take ownership of quality across the full development lifecycle, including independently organising and conducting onsite testing sessions.
• Provide 2ndlevel support and help ensure stable system operations and monitoring in close collaboration with the IT team.
• Leverage modern AIassisted development tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, and apply agentic AI models such as Claude Sonnet in your daily work.

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in software engineering and complex system development.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET, with handson experience in objectoriented design, automated testing, deployment, and tools such as GitHub and Artifactory.
• Familiarity with network technologies (e.g. firewalls, DMZ) and image processing is a strong advantage.
• Strong interest in automation and advanced industrial technologies, including Smart Factory and IoT, with a proactive mindset toward innovation and operational excellence.
• Fluent in English, comfortable collaborating with stakeholders across Europe and Asia, and experienced working in culturally diverse teams.
• Selfdriven, analytical, and reliable, with a willingness to travel occasionally and contribute actively to team success.
